Nexus has had a long journey up to now, with countless changes and modifications in car design, graphics, and our members. With the help of past F1 in School's competitors, we have built our team off of their knowledge and learnt from their mistakes to further strengthen our team.
Tim Allard
Graphic Designer
My role in Nexus is to create visually pleasing graphics that perfectly represent our team’s identity. I work closely with Joseph to design our trade display, portfolios, prospectus, uniforms and much more that represent our values.
As resource manager, I am tasked with collecting and distributing our funds and resources as efficiently as possible. I create a financial plan, and work with the rest of the team to fairly distribute our funds to maximise our project outcomes.

I have an extremely crucial role in Nexus, as I work with Tim to create a brand and identity that embodies our values and is appealing to sponsors. Through various events and online medias, I expose our team to maximise our public relations and gain helpful and trustworthy sponsors.
As Design Engineer, I have to design and manufacture our team’s car, and make it the fastest I can through months of testing and refinement. I make sure that not only is our car fast, but that it strictly follows the rules and regulations before, during and after manufacturing.

I am the Nexus team manager, and with that title comes a lot of hard work. I have to create Strict deadlines and make sure our team is working as efficiently as possible. I organise meetings with the team so we can share our work status’, as well as meetings to discuss potential sponsorship.
